Most of you should be aware of the FreeBSD
Diary mailing list. In the past, messages were posted to this manually. I
composed each message by hand, and sent it out the list. Sometimes the intervals
between announcements were quite long. But no more! The list is now automated.
I wrote a perl script last night. With one minor hiccup on the first mailout,
and those of you on the list will have seen the strange new headers, things went smoothly.
The mail is scheduled to go out shortly after midnight, Chicago time. |
