I've been managing several fbsd servers for some years now.
The most interesting is a small 300mhz celeron which i've
setup to manage all the computer services for a local Law firm.
This little 300mhz (32meg ram, 2 gig hd) system does:
-Internet NAT over ISDN lines (ppp)
-DNS (bind)
-Web services (Squid proxy, custom CGI scripts)
-Incomming faxes printed to a samba laser printer (HylaFax)
-Outgoing faxes comming from M$ Word workstations
(HylaFax+custom scripts)
-Samba shares
-Xitami web server which provides information on
incomming and outgoing faxes, and other services.
-Lots of other things :]
System has been running for a year and a half. No problems.
