Feedback

Feedback is important to any writer and especially to those that write how-to guides.   It is because of this that I encourage people to contact me with things that concern them.

Confused?  Is something unclear?
If I've made a mistake, or  something I have written is unclear or confusing, please let me know.  This is important.  If it doesn't make sense to you, it won't make sense to someone else.  Please tell me and I'll fix the article.  I, and others, will thank you for it.
Do you have a question?
Please don't ask me to help.  I already help out on IRC and write this website, but I don't have the time or the bandwidth to answer everyone's questions.   You will find your answer quicker if you look for your answers in the correct place.  If you need help with something in particular, please refer to Where to get help first before you contact me.  General questions such as "I tried what you said but it didn't work, what's wrong?" tend to go to the bottom of the list.  But if I'd told you something wrong, I'd like to know.

If you don't get an answer, it's because I don't have time to answer all the questions I receive.  You are better off with the mailing lists (freebsd-questions@freebsd.org).

For comments, criticisms, praise
If you have any comments or criticism, please remember that the Reader Forum  is an ideal place.
email
You can email me via comments at freebsddiary in the org domain.   If you are asking for help, and do not receive a reply, don't be offended.   It's not personal.
