I assume the admins of this forum know that occasionally certain posts generate an ISE? I was trying to go back and read some of the older posts, yet all I seem to be getting were 500's.
Just curious.

Yes, I know. It's not a server error. It's a client error. Restart your browser and the problem will go away. If this doesn't solve the problem, then yes, I want to know.

Internal Server Error 500 is NOT a client error....but rather a server error. I am wondering if php has a tendancy to freak out with caching browsers. I have no choice but to use IE...which will not allow you set a 0 cache limit. Unfortunately I don't know enough about PHP to troubleshoot. Have you looked in the ServerError logs to diagnose? (just curious)

Yes, I know it's reported as a Server Error. But restarting the browser makes the problem go away. That's why I'm concluding it's a client error. The fact that it's reporting a server error may be misleading.
There are no messages in the server log. I've just checked again.
FWIW: I've looked at this problem many times.

It's all good...just weird that the browser would generate an error like that. I firmly believe IE might be the culpret....since I seem to have no troubles with Netscape.
M$ we love you!

I've found that once you encounter an Internal Server Error, all future messages you try to view will produce that 500 error. Because of caching, some messages you have already viewed are OK.
If anyone finds that the problem is not fixed by a browser restart, please let me know. Because I'm quite sure that restart fixes the problems.
