 GnomeMC & Desktop Issues

I used Free BSD unleashed to install Free BSD 4.5 off of the Cdís that came with the book.

I have installed both Free BSD and Linux RedHat over 20 times each. It seems to work fine except that

1.) I cannot Right click on the desktop only. ( Mouse works fine elsewhere )
2.) I have no desktop icons.
3.) All I get is black when using or previewing the screensavers.

I am using the Gnome+Sawfish desktop.

I am pretty sure my video settings are fine and it is installed correctly.

What I think is wrong is that the book states to install Gnomemc but it is not listed in the available packages on the disk. If it was I would have no idea how to find it. /stand/sysinstall does not yield it.

I cannot so far find anything on the net about it ( but that has not stopped me from looking )

It is supposed to be in ./usr/ports/x11-fm/gnomemc but the CD does not list it unless I am not looking correctly.

Where can I find it and what is the easiest way to load GnomeMC on this PC ?

I have it on an Compaq Armada 7770DMT with an S3 TrioV64+ Video at 800x600.

I should be able to run /stand/sysintsall as root and load it by adding packages but I cannot find it.

Lastly how do I install themes, backgrounds, and screensavers. I want to learn UNIX but figure I should have a working system first.
