Hello!
I'm new to FreeBSD. I need your help to configure the router on my
FreeBSD mashine. Could you give me an example of ipfw and socks5
configurations which will meet the following requirements:
My network scheme is as follows:
--------------------
| Internal network |
--------------------
||
||
/(ed3)
--------------------
| FreeBSD firewall |
| with Socks5 proxy |
--------------------
||(ed1)||(ed2)||(ed0)
|| || ====> Expensive fast Internet provider
|| ||
|| ===========> Free slow Internet provider
||
==================> External department
I need to route all the traffic through my firewall to the free Internet
provider, and allow users to use the expensive line if necessary only
when they connect to the socks proxy using login and password.
In addition, it's necessary to allow all queries to our external department
without any limitations.
I heared that it may be done using the "fwd" rule of ipfw. But I don't
know, how to configure it.
If you can offer me the configuration for this scheme, I'll be grateful.
Waiting for your answers,
With best regards,
Andrey Shekhovtsov
