 ADSL Setup

I try to connect an ADSL Modem with my FreeBSD, I've got problems with pptp and the ppp conf ....Can somebody give me th procedure to setup all that stuffs and make it work...

Now, I'm not sure how your ISP has you set up, but this is what I did:

# /stand/sysinstall

Then I did a post-installation configuration -> network -> then I told the setup that I hadn't set up the network interfaces.

Just fill in the fields with your ISP's information and you're off!

I know this is pretty basic and I didn't even set up pptp or ppp and it works great for me.

If anyone knows that this is totally wrong, please feel free to correct me. : )
