 creating an ISO image???
Author: /dev/null

Good day all!

Sorry for stupid question ;-) but is it possible to make an iso image of current system?

I have a bootable CD with 4.0 RELEASE. I upgraded my system to 4.2 STABLE via cvsup and I'd like to make an iso image of 4.2 STABLE, write it on CD and use it like I use 4.0 RELEASE bootable CD.

Thank you.

mkisofs is a wonderful tool for creating iso filesystems from directories.

/usr/ports/sysutils/mkisofs

be sure to read the man pages, as mkisofs has MANY flags that will have an effect on the resulting iso

it is definitely a must have....
