Hi, I'm trying to install freeBSD 6.2 in a SATA disk, when the install process begins I get the next error:
"Unable to find device node for /dev/X in /dev! Couldn't make filesystems properly. Aborting"
So, I googled to find some answer but I couldn't find any good one, I tried to use the FixIt feature of sysinstall and I choose the option: "Start an Emergency Holographic Shell" but after to choose this option the shell never been loaded.
So, can you help me with this?, the sysinstall tell me that is a problem o geometry of my HDD, but how can I fix this?
I also tried my Install CD in a IDE HDD and I didn't get any error, so My CD is ok, I guess is the problem of my SATA disk
Thanks to all
