I used a somewhat dated, albeit excellent article written by Dru in order to perform my first portupgrade process EVAR!

In any event, one of the questions I had about portupgrade is it's apparent inability to follow command line swiches a user might have made during an initial install of a port.
For example, I chose to build the clamav-milter (by selecting it during the GUI menu that appears when you install clamav from ports) during the initial install which got me version 87 of both clamav and clamav-milter.
When I did a portupgrade, it found that clamav needed to be upgraded to 88, but did not upgrade clamav-milter at the same time.
Is there a flag one could pass to the portupgrade -arR -i to get it to follow switches that were made during a user installation of a port?
