I'm looking for a favour.  In all the people that read my website, I'm sure there must be someone who is good at designing a banner.  Have a look at the banner at the top of this page.  Not the ad, but the one for my website.  If you can do stuff of similar (or even better) quality, then I'd like you to do me a favour.

I'm looking for a banner for a new project which is almost finished.  The concept is called freshports.  I don't want to tell you any more than that because things aren't quite ready yet.  But if you can have the graphic ready by the end of the month, that would be great.  It should be the more or less the same size as the FreeBSD Diary logo.  As for content, keeping with the FreeBSD daemon would be good.   At one point I envisioned the Daemon with steaming host fresh bread, just out of the oven.  But don't let my ideas cloud those creative minds.  Do what you think will look good.

I don't know what I can give the successful artist.  How about world fame and knowledge that the help I've provided has been reciprocated?  Sorry, but I can't afford to pay anyone.

Those that wish to contribute their work should do so via email.

cheers & thanks

- Dan Langille
