Things look quiet here. But I've been doing a lot of blogging at dan.langille.org because I prefer WordPress now. Not all my posts there are FreeBSD related. I am in the midst of migrating The FreeBSD Diary over to WordPress (and you can read about that here). Once the migration is completed, I'll move the FreeBSD posts into the new FreeBSD Diary website.

OK, so this isn't exactly a FreeBSD Diary issue, but it will be interesting to most of you.  Given the number of references I find in my logs, many of you go to FreshPorts from the links I provide here.  Thanks.

For those that have never heard of the site, FreshPorts is the place for ports.  FreshPorts is the one website dedicated to ports and it contains the most up to date information available..

I've upgraded the site so that it refreshes its information much quicker than before.   And the home page is better to look at.  It uses much less real estate.

But don't take my word for it, try http://www.FreshPorts.org/ for yourself.
