This is just a note for me, I'll tidy this up later:

[17:59] <dvl--> wabb1t: you're talking about the live filesystem CD?
[17:59] <wabb1t> dvl-- : Yes, but I just realized that the install cd (mini or cd1) has everything you need: /boot/loader
[18:00] <dvl--> wabb1t: one day, I'll look into that, but for now, dinner calls. Thank you.
[18:01] <wabb1t> dvl-- : No problem. I'll look into it right now :)
[18:01] <wabb1t> afk, rebooting.
[18:01] *** NumberSIX (~DSIX@174-57.cableamos.com) Quit (Read error: No route to host)
[18:07] <wabb1t> Yes, it does seem to work. Interrupt the loader on the cd before loading the kernel; set currdev="disk2s2a"; unload; load /kernel; set init_path="/stand/sysinstall"; boot
[18:08] <wabb1t> disk2s2a is where I have 4.x installed (/dev/ad1s2a)
