SIL - SII 3112 Serial SATA Driver
Me and a friend, did write some time ago a simple 10 min patch low level system Driver for Silicon image serial driver sii 3112 on asus Mainboard A7N8X Deluxe (freeBSD 5.2 ).
Testet and everythink worked fine with
newfs, fdisk, fsck etc. written over 200GB on different HD without errors.

Hope that would help many with the same Hardware.
( Did even see posts where ppl did buy another hardware cause of that problem. )
