Hi,

I tried this script, but I get the following error.

DUMP: Date of this level 1 dump: Fri Sep 17 14:51:29 2004
DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch
DUMP: Dumping /dev/ad0s1a (/) to standard output
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 60355 tape blocks.
DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
DUMP: DUMP: 61394 tape blocks
DUMP: finished in 11 seconds, throughput 5581 KBytes/sec
DUMP: level 1 dump on Fri Sep 17 14:51:29 2004
DUMP: DUMP IS DONE
DUMP: SIGSEGV: ABORTING!
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

When I do this:
/sbin/dump -1 -auf - /var | gzip -q > /mnt/drive2/backup/friday/var.dump.gz

it al works fine. It just stops after the first dump.
