Installation Insructions For isoqlog (sendmail usage monitor)
1. Be sure your ports collection is up-to-date
2. cd /usr/ports/mail/isoqlog
3. make
4. make install
5. make clean
6. cd /usr/local/etc
7. vi isoqlog.conf-dist (use whatever editor you like)
#isoqlog 2.1 Configuration file
logtype = "sendmail" #log type qmai-multilog, qmail-syslog, sendmail, postfix
logstore = "/var/log/maillog" #Log File Location (BSD sendmail /var/log/maillog)
domainsfile = "/usr/local/etc/isoqlog.domains" #Leave alone
outputdir = "/usr/local/www/data/isoqlog" #html outpur directory
htmldir = "/usr/local/share/isoqlog/htmltemp" #Leave alone
langfile = "/usr/local/share/isoqlog/lang/english" #leave alone
hostname = "yourdomainname.com"
maxsender = 100
maxreceiver = 100
maxtotal = 100
maxbyte = 100
*Save this file as isoqlog.conf
8. vi isoqlog.domains-dist
9. just add your domain name in that file and save as isoqlog.domains
10. crontab –e
11. (add this line) 0,10,20,30,40,50 * * * * /usr/local/bin/isoqlog 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null
12. that will update the files every 10 minutes
that’s all you need to do
