Hi,
some very useful commands for easing the process of finding information on a specific keyword or for finding information related to a specific topic are apropos(1) and whatis(1).
Try "man apropos" for a short description of both commands.
Not related to the topic of this post, but since I'm at it right now:
A very, very hand command (at least to me, as english is not my native tongue) is look(1).
The look command helps me to find the correct spelling for words I frequently spell totally wrong.
Just supply the starting letters of the word in question to the look command, and it'll list any words it knows starting with these letters.
