I'm also in Germany, also using a DCF77 clock that gets its power
from the serial line, and I've had quite an easier NTP-Server setup than Harald. Our server is FreeBSD 4.3-Stable. Using the builtin NTP daemon with xntpd_enable="YES" in the /etc/rc.conf script and a /etc/ntp.conf containing server 127.127.8.0 prefer mode 16 we get just a fine DCF77 time.
