 Think you meant 1MB, not 1KB

* -b 2048 - starts the partition 2048 sectors in from the start of the disk (leaving 1KB free)


Should be:

* -b 2048 - starts the partition 2048 sectors in from the start of the disk (leaving 1MB free)
