 Display Folders By User

I am trying to learn Apache as fast as I can, so I can set up a website in my PC to have access to all my files through the Internet. I have used several trial programs with some degree of success. My main problem is the following: My "root directory" is at "F:\application\htdocs. I have three other directories in "F:\" that I want to work with: "F:\Secure", "F:\Public" and "F:\Personal". My goal is to set some form of authorization system whereas the "username" determines what directories are displayed in, and can be accessed through the browser. For example, if "username1" logs in, he/she will only see/access "F:\Public". "username2" will see/access only "F:\Secure" and "F:\Public". Finally, "username3" will see/access all three directories. Can this be done? If yes, how? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, this can be done.

you may want to look into PHP (http://www.php.net) for some help with building this type of Auth system.
