Re: Help, freebsd random freeze up, any ideas why?

A list of reasons I have had FreeBSD freeze on me.

- Bad memory
- Dead CPU fan
- Dead PS fan (not enough case ventilation)
- Bad memory on a RAID controller
- Lack of wt-cache on a RAID controller (no battery)

I would have to say that the memory is going to be the biggest culprit.
