 PAM support gone?

Comparing the /usr/src/lib dir to the one in 5.4 (which there is none) I've noticed alot of the libpam support is gone. Is this the case, or did I miss something? Qpopper relied on that functionality for authentication.

For some reason compiling from source failed, but compiling from ports worked. Go figure.

Now answer my portmapper question! =P

Did they yank portmap from 5.4? (or is it now rpcbind?)
