 moused causes machine to freeze
Author: John Warmann
Date:   05-01-05 03:05

I was having several problems with 5.3 after upgrading from 5.1 so i did a fresh install. After install the mouse wasn't workin so i run sysinstall to configure and start moused. I didnt have to change any options because i use a PS/2 mouse so defaults are fine. Testing the mouse or enabling moused; the cursor moves a bit then the computer freezes completely and i have to reboot manually. Any command to start moused such as
moused -p /dev/psm0 -t ps/2
also freezes. Any ideas what could be the cause??
Thanks
