 boot ploblem when installing FreeBSD on 2 IDE HDD
Author: Simiganoschi Teodor

I whant to install FreeBSD on 2 IDE HDD: the first IDE has 1G(master) and the second 1,2G(slave).
on the 1G HDD: / ; /tmp ; /var ; swap;
on the 1,3 HDD: /usr
Installing the FreeBSD was no problem but when booting the sistem the bootloader doesn't find the kernel ????? What should I do ... I have changed masters and slaves and I have installed FreeBSD in all posible ways.
I have tried changing the boot partition in all posible ways:
0:ad(1,a)/kernel 1:ad(0,a)/kernel etc.

The same kernel not found error:

kernel not found
0:ad(0,0)/kernel
boot:

I have solved the problem, I have installed on the master the / - root directory ant the MBR without a boot loader.
