 Firewall + FreeBSD
Author: Dimitris Rokos
Date:   30-10-00 20:41

I've recompiled the kernel
Inserted the lines that the tutorials said .
Written the /etc/firewall/fwrules.
BUT WHEN I CONNECT TO MY ISP
i cannat even ping to other ip's except the ip's that my ISP ownes. Of course no 80 port is working and to resolve is made.
Any suggestions ?
Is the kernel-security manual correct ?
Did any1 try it ?
Thanx ....

Make sure you've got the default_router="<ip address>" correct in /etc/rc.conf.

About the port 80 issue I'm not sure if you mean that you've got a webserver on
your side or if you attempt to connect to an external host on port 80. It'd really
help if you pasted the rules in here.
