 Parallel Port Zip Drive
Author: Scott
Date:   19-10-00 02:43

Hello, is there support for the Parallel Port Zip Drive in FreeBSD 4.0-RELEASE ? If so, how can I access it? I read the Zip-Drive tutorial on freebsd.org however I am still unable to access the drive. Freebsd DOES pickup the drive and refers to it as ppc0 during bootup...
I hope that info helps.. thanks for reading.

Yes there is.
But I'm not sure the driver is in the GENERIC kernel.
You have to enable the vpo device
This requers scbus and da also.

After rebuilding your kernel you should be able to mount the zip drive vith someshing like:
mount_msdos /dev/da0s4 /mnt
