 CD writer recommendations

I'm looking to obtain a CD writer. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Anything SCSI should work to write cd's with cdrecord. Though, look at the list of compatible writers for cdrecord.

you can pick up Panasonic 4x8 scsi internal cd-r's for really good prices... check out http://dealmac.com and search for panasonic cd-r...

i've been using one with cdrecord, mkisofs, mkhfs, and gcombust (x interface) with no problems whatsoever.

ide cd burners are a little bit more tricky to deal with.
