I have a freeBSD 4.1 box and need so have a single NIC have sevral routable IP address. Does anyone have anything that will work? My current syntax does not?

ifconfig_xl0="inet 216.190.XXX.XXX netmask 255.255.255.128"
ifconfig_xl0_ alias="inet 216.190.XXX.XXX netmask 255.255.255.128"
ifconfig_xl0_alias2="inet 216.190.XXX.XXX netmask 255.255.255.128"

I only get the first IP address listed.

You want..

ifconfig_xl0_alias1="inet 216.190.XXX.XXX netmask 255.255.255.255"

(notice the difference in the netmask)
