 Heartbeat error ??

Sep 11 11:52:07 nairobi /kernel: lnc0: Heartbeat error -- SQE test failed
Sep 11 11:52:07 nairobi /kernel: lnc0: Loss of carrier during transmit -- Net error?

I've been getting numerous errors as shown above and so far I haven't located any answers.

I'm using Sendmail 8.11.0 on FreeBSD 4.0-Release but believe this may not have anything to do with sendmail.

Any suggestions where I can find some information on errors would be greatly appreciated.
