 sis problem

Anyone else have an sis onboard based NIC and have problems with it.I have this problem where I keep getting cut off from the internet i can't bring the interface back up unless i reboot I've heard others have problems with the cards but anyone got a solution?

I did have a problem for a while... what version of FreeBSD are you using?

i run both -current and -stable. The problem happens on both -paul

I suggest you giving up the sis card, replace it with any 8139 NIC, they are quit cheap today. sis chips cause a lot of problem in many OSs.
