Hi,
I've been having problems connecting to My Apache when I do apachectl start I get "could not bind address in use" !!! I tried a bunch of stuff NO LUCK !! Would appreciate your help.

check the errors logs, check ps and make sure it is not running already, and check for a pid file that may not have gotten removed.

possible incorrect
httpd.conf or
also
apache server already running
need to check pid file as dan said and make sure apache is running on ort 80 and no firewall connections is blocking that port
go over httpd.conf first and make sure an available ip address is correctly available for use

sounds like the actual program is not configured properly

one more thing make sure no other service is using port 80
and ssl i think
make sure both ports are free for use
80
123? for ssl
youll find it

443 is ssl. 123 is ntp.

:-)

checkout /etc/services for a very comprehensive list of common port numbers.
