I would like to convert the last slash (/) to a ? using htaccess rewrite engine. For example, URLs like www.mydomain.com/9999 would be rewritten to www.mydomain.com?9999 and URLs like mydomain.com/af/9999 would be rewritten to mydomain.com/af?9999
Please let me know the coding for this. Thanks,
Victor

I hope you also would like to understand it. This is something
you would find in the RewriteEngine documentation.

I think what you are trying to do is provide virtual directories/files. Is that correct? If so, I did this for FreshPorts using the missing file processing facility (i.e. 404). For example, http://www.freshports.org/security/logcheck/ provides details of that ports, but there is no such file on disk.
