anyone know of or have any documentation on 'tripwire...' I just got tripwire 3.0 but the .pdf docs it came with are not sufficient.

i found tripwire to be a bit of PITA...
if you haven't paid for it, give aide a shot (/usr/ports/security/aide)

you may also want to look at the aide documentation. for what I understand, the config is very similar/possiblt identical to tripwire.

is there a specific issue you are having?

if you did pay for it, have you contacted tripwire support?

no i haven't contacted them... just trying to learn the software... i dont have it implemented on any working servers... thanks for the advice .dan
