Hi all

I recevied mail from root, contents is a follows
-------------------------------------
Checking for rejected mail hosts:
38 sa.com
37 ebizsys.com
7 wwb.com
4 sina.com
3 web.abc.com
3 tray.col.com
------------------------------

What can I check why my server rejected the above hosts?
in fact I can receve the mail 'sa.com', sina.com' before

and then what is the meaning of the figure 38, 37, 7, 4

I'm guessing that's the number of rejected emails sitting in your mail queue.

Try mailq and see the output.

Hi Dan

Many tks for yr reply. I checked the mailq everytime after I sent mail.
I made the sendmail -q when I have mail queue.

In addition, I also rcevied some mails which was sent by sender two days before.
Why? and where do I check that?

Perhaps your mail server was offline. Perhaps their mail server was offline.
