 natd working but...
Author: Ryan
Date:   20-11-02 18:53

I just installed ipfw and natd. Everything seems to be working fine so far. However, the following message is displayed at boot time:

natd: Unable to bind divert socket.: Address already in use

I've been away from UNIX for a while, so please be easy on me.

Thanks.

Ryan,

The error means that natd is trying to use a port that
is already in use by another program. It is possible that
natd is already running, or that you are trying to start
natd on a commonly used port.

What is the divert line in your firewall rules?
