Hi

I would like to install openssh
but it seems to need to install 'encryption' source first
I discover that there is encryption from /stand/sysinstall/
but 'IT NOT EXPORT OUTSIDE USA'
What is the meaning? We can't install it when we are not in USA?

tks

regards
Peter

What version of freebsd are you running? OpenSSH is now out from under export restrictions AFAIK.

You didn't tell me what version of FreeBSD. So did you get OpenSSH running OK?

In the past, the way I've gotten SSH to install and run is to cvsup and upgrade. Are you keen to try an upgrade to 4.1-stable? Remember to backup stuff you don't want to lose.
