 File System size limit
Author: Luke

I have a 40Gb hard drive that I would like to put a 40Gig partition on. I boot off of a 2 gig drive. I have tried using sysinstall to make the slice on the drive and it will either fail or only format to 32Gb. Is this a filesystem limitation or is it more likely a hardware limitation (ie. host box is a POS) ? Making the dis into 2 20Gb disks is an option I would prefer to avoid. Is there another filesystem the FreeBSD will support at this size ?
