 Dual Hard Drives....
Author: Chris Edmiston

I've just obtained a file server and i am converting it to a freebsd web server w/ apache and the usual extras...

I'm gonna play with installing it today, but it has two 4gig wd hard drives... How do i use both of them???? I've never tried to install freebsd before, so I need to figure this out pretty quick...

Thanks,
Chris

When you boot off the install disks, once the install process comes up there will be a point at which it will ask you which of the following disks you'd like to install on. Just check them both. Then later it will ask you to create your slices. Both drives will be available to slice up..

it's pretty easy.

Okay, how do you bring up ULTRA DMA 66 drives. I find it is impossible!
