 Help with IDE CD-RW

i have gotten freebsd to work with scsi based cd-rw, but i now have an hp 7200 ide burner. i cannot get it to work under freebsd, i have checked all the cdrecord information and even tried to use camcontrol, but still nothing.

Need help on information

If you are using FreeBSD 4.x, you can use burncd instead of cdrecord. It works for me. :)

Let me get this right: You managed to get an HP7200e working under FreeBSD 4.0? How? I've been trying to do that since installing FreeBSD 4.0 three months ago and I'd sure appreciate a bit of help here!
