Hi

I have figured out how to use mrtg for monitoring bandwidth with the graphs on kb's out and in. VERY NICE BY THE WAY

Is there any way with mrtg, or with any other program to monitor the gigs of bandwidth in and out of a freebsd box for a months usage.

Any advise would be really cool.

Best regards

aaron

Hi All

I found my solution:))

I found a great program which is actually a port, but I installed it from source.

It's "ipfm"

http://robert.cheramy.net/ipfm/

It tracks every byte in and out of a box and stores the logs for viewing in..
/var/log/ipfm/

It dosn't have any graphical log files, but it gets straight to the point - bytes in, bytes out, and total.

Just What I needed :)

I posted this reply incase any others are looking for such damons.

Best Regards

Aaron
