I mistakenly copied a huge file to /
and after deleting it, I couldn't get back my free space.
on 2.2 freebsd.
cp gave no warnings..
can anyone tell me how to defrag.
I've purchased v. 4.x
and will try and see if it installs correctly.
otherwise its on to redhat 7.x
quite frankly, 2.2 was very difficult to install,
and after reading the readme about the sysinstall
overwriting and ballooning the scripts, I was amazed it shipped that way
to canada.
