Author: Chip

I just added a second hard drive to my box and got it set up
and mounted. Now I want to move /usr to it. I have been unable to locate the instructions on how to so. If anyone knows how could you please help me.

Did you look in this site's topics page, under file systems?

You can use tar to do something like that. Or cp -Rp /usr /newusr. then mv /usr /oldusr. Then do a ln -s /newusr /usr, and make sure everything is OK before you delete it.
