I *think* the person was asking "where in the ports tree".

There are two ways to find this out:

$ cd /usr/ports
$ make search name=SWAT
Port: swatch-2.2
Path: /usr/ports/security/swatch
Info: The Simple WATCHer and filter
Maint: jfitz@FreeBSD.org
Index: security sysutils
B-deps:
R-deps:

Port: swisswatch-0.06
Path: /usr/ports/x11-clocks/swisswatch
Info: A Swiss railway clock emulation, and a fancy default appearance
Maint: sanpei@jp.FreeBSD.org
Index: x11-clocks
B-deps: XFree86-3.3.6
R-deps: XFree86-3.3.6

Which makes me think it's not in the ports tree. But ahhh, let's try this:

$ make search name=samba
Port: ja-samba-2.0.5a.2
Path: /usr/ports/japanese/samba
Info: A free SMB and CIFS client and server for UNIX
Maint: pcmaster@osk3.3web.ne.jp
Index: japanese net
B-deps:
R-deps:

Port: gtksamba-0.3.2.1
Path: /usr/ports/net/gtksamba
Info: Samba configuration tool for X Window System
Maint: ports@FreeBSD.org
Index: net
B-deps: ORBit-0.5.1 XFree86-3.3.6 esound-0.2.18 gettext-0.10.35 glib-1.2.7 gnomelibs-1.0.58 gtk-1.2.7 imlib-1.9.8 jpeg-6b libaudiofile-0.1.9 libungif-4.1.0 png-1.0.5 tiff-3.5.5 xpm-3.4k
R-deps: ORBit-0.5.1 XFree86-3.3.6 esound-0.2.18 gettext-0.10.35 glib-1.2.7 gnomelibs-1.0.58 gtk-1.2.7 imlib-1.9.8 jpeg-6b libaudiofile-0.1.9 libungif-4.1.0 png-1.0.5 tiff-3.5.5 xpm-3.4k

Port: ksamba-0.3.3
Path: /usr/ports/net/ksamba
Info: KDE/Q program to setup/configure samba
Maint: hanspb@persbraten.vgs.no
Index: kde net
B-deps: Mesa-3.1 XFree86-3.3.6 gmake-3.78.1 jpeg-6b kdelibs-1.1.2.1 png-1.0.5 qt-1.45 tiff-3.5.5
R-deps: Mesa-3.1 XFree86-3.3.6 jpeg-6b kdelibs-1.1.2.1 png-1.0.5 qt-1.45 tiff-3.5.5

Port: samba-2.0.6
Path: /usr/ports/net/samba
Info: A free SMB and CIFS client and server for UNIX
Maint: hosokawa@jp.FreeBSD.org
Index: net
B-deps:
R-deps:

is /usr/ports/net/ksamba what you want?
