Hey all.
where or what command can I use as well as the parameters to setup my main NIC. I am using BSD as my a gateway/router between my internal subnet and a cable connection. I want to specify the IP, netmask, gatway, host, and domain name as well as the name server. Where do I do this??

Any help apprecieted.

Most of this should have been done during your install. if not, run

/stand/sysinstall
configure
Network
interface

If you did set this up during your install, check /etc/rc.conf for things like this:

hostname="ducky.nz.freebsd.org"
defaultrouter="192.168.1.254"
ifconfig_ed0="inet 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0"
