 installing gtk apps...
Author: orbadelic

for some reason I can't install a single gtk app because when I go through the ./configure process it always says that I need gtk-config. for the life of me I can't find it any of my */bin directorys and i have both gtk and glib 1.2.7 installed. Any hints? (trying to compile the newest gaim and several other things (since ports has the older stuff))

what program u want to install? why not use ports collection. Please install glib and gtk+ again. The gtk-config should be in /usr/local/bin.

[ opal /usr/ports ]% make search key=gaim
Port: gaim-0.9.13
Path: /usr/ports/net/gaim
