 xdm login graphics
Author: polarweasel

I'm tired of looking at the default grey background that xdm (XFree86 4.0, FreeBSD 3.3-release) gives me, and I'm trying to figure out how to change it.

I've gotten as far as changing xlogin*background to black in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xresources, but I can't figger out how to stick an image back there. There's not a resource in the file currently to do that, but is there one I can put in?

Thanks,

Alex

1. Can you be more specific about " use xv -root in Xsetup_0". There is no xv in my FreeBSD 3.4-REL i386 .
