 New Apache Port?
Author: Eric Veraart
Date:   06-04-00 19:42

Heya'll,

Is there a new port for Apache-php3/FrontPage/SSL? Because there's a new version for all of them, except Frontpage. Also some sites in the Makefile are incorrect.
I would make it myself if I knew how, but I'm still kinda newbie. Just changing the version numbers didn't work, because of the patches :(
If someone could explain how to make a new port, I would make one myself everytime a new version came out :)

C-ya,
Eric

This link should give you details about ports/packages: http://www.32bitsonline.com/print.php3?file=issues/200003/bsdports&page=3

As for Apache with php3+FrontPage+SSL or even with addition of php4RC1 and Mysql, you should follow this order:
1) install mysql-client-3.22.32.tgz and mysql-server-3.22.32.tgz
2) http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-0.9.5a.tar.gz
3) http://www.modssl.org/source/mod_ssl-2.6.2-1.3.12.tar.gz
4) compile apache13-fp
5) download and compile php-3.0.16.tar.gz
6) get php4RC1.tar.gz and do the same as (5) above

You should always read the docs of each for furture details.
