setting up FreeBSD to print to a win98 box.

hello ...

sadly, I know very little about the wonderful world of samba.

What I would like to do is to use a printer connected to a win98 box. Red Hat has a very handy little utility for doing this, sadly FreeBSD doesn't have this.

I tried using gtksamba, but I only got weird error messages. Thus, I'm looking for some info on the set up.

cheers,

tim

Start with the link to the search engine at the top/bottom of every page. Search for Samba. Or try the topics page, again, at the top/bottom of every page. Look under Samba.

Next time you get weird error messages, save them. It can help us to help you.
