hello ::

could you recommend a good backup program ( open-source/commercial) that back's up bsd systems?

any help would be cool.

cd /usr/ports
make search key="backup"

thats what I use when I want to find something like that... it should list a few if you have the ports installed.

tar and dump seem to be the most widely referred to. There are others. Your actual choice will be affected by whether you are backing up your machine, or hundreds.

yah i'm familiar with dump and tar, but do you know of any commercial backup programs you could recommend? similiar to a backupexec/arcserver for NT.
