 login on proxy wiht domainname via http

hi, I wonna borwse internet from my bsd desktop from locaal network. when i connect on local network torugh nulmodem conection i must go trough proxy server. in windows95 i configure iexplorer use proxy on port 80. when i conect, i get question: user name; password; domainname. how to can i do it under BSD?
can i do it in text mode? (links or lynx).
sorry, i am a newbie, and i am learn anglish too. thank.
